Bosie's Gift To Posterity

I dreamed I was eating and handing round a special Christmas mix prepared by no less a person than Lord Alfred Douglas. Bosie was long dead but this concoction of his had been preserved in an airtight plastic container. The ingredients included sherbert, chunks of Turkish Delight, candied peel and nuts.

It's nearly Christmas and I love angels...



This is one of a set of musician angels from Tewkesbury Abbey. They must once have served as roof bosses but have been taken down and are now lying about, propped against walls and pillars in the aisles- some of them tagged with helpful labels, some not. This one is playing what its label describes as "a small 'Gothic' harp of Irish type".

the bell on the reception desk at the doctors' played a couple of bars of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and...

the postman delivering the doctor's mail had his Mohican dyed blue with glitter in it.
