Cold Water
Mar. 14th, 2018 11:49 amWord came through yesterday that the plans for a new town in our area are off the table- and the developers are no longer interested in buying the farm.
Last week we had two buyers lined up. This week we have none. And we're back to where we were last summer before all this blew up.
Ah well...
And here's an oddity. Just before the email came through the hot water went off. We noticed because Ailz was taking a shower at the time. We checked everything that could be checked and there didn't seem to be anything wrong; all the lights were on, no fuses had tripped, the boiler was working- only there wasn't any hot water coming through. It made no earthly sense. The shower has it's own heating unit- separate from the boiler. They shouldn't both fail together.
After I read the email I went and checked again and the hot water was back. I sort of thought it might be.
It was as if someone were saying, "You know your plans to move to Hastings? Well, you're about to have cold water poured all over them."
