Vade Retro

A headline advert in my online paper is offering me a "vintage wool cap" so I can strut round rural Kent pretending to be a Peaky Blinder. It's a good look and I'm tempted- but targeted advertising is evil and one of my rules for life is never to succumb to it.

Besides the peaky blinder look has become considerably less cool since David Cameron adopted it.
