Loving My Feet

I was hanging out with grandchildren last week (one of whom congratulated me on being a seven-year-old- just like herself) and I took a punt at a football and connected with the metalled path instead. I was wearing crocs- which offer little buffering- and it hurt considerably. Ever since then I've been treating my feet with more respect- wearing proper trainers instead of crocs and eschewing the mules I use indoors. Today I acquired a proper pair of slippers, with backs to them.
