Rats? Rats!

It's coming from the attic or the gutter. And it's right above our bedroom. I can't think of anything that would be making a noise like that apart from rats. It's too heavy-footed for mice, too scrabbly for pigeons.
Damn and blast.
We're taking steps.
1. I've moved the bird feeder away from the house. It attracts the rats. My mother keeps asking where it's gone. And then why we've moved it. "Now there's nothing for me to look at".
Just like a sulky kid!
Ailz has bought an ultrasonic rodent repellor to put in the attic
And I'm about to go out and swing a scythe at the heather beds that give them cover.
