Eastbourne Pier

It's only a couple of months since part of Eastbourne pier went up in smoke, but they've cracked on with the restoration work and the building is now open to visitors again. We thought the rain might defeat us, but it cleared towards late afternoon and we were able to walk out across the waves- as we'd planned- and take tea in the Victorian Tea Rooms.
