Sep. 18th, 2014 10:38 amAfter watching Martin Sixsmith's film about single mothers in Ireland being taken into the custody of nuns and having their children stolen from them and sent to unvetted foster parents in America I find myself wondering why the Catholic Church hasn't yet died of shame.
But institutions have this ability to carry on living and prospering long after the ideals of their founders have been left in the dust.
My thoughts drift towards the British Labour Party.
