We should be driving back to Oldham today but that's on hold because the carer we had lined up has gone into hospital to have her hernia sorted. Jo has said she may be able to find us someone else. We'll see.
Bertha has gone by. We got two heavy drenchings yesterday but the sky had cleared by evening and I got a look at the Supermoon. This morning's weather is changeable.
We have compost heaps. We use them to recycle our garden and kitchen waste. I noticed this morning that the best rotted of them has an orange lily growing out of it.
