Preparing To Go Home

We go home in a couple of days- from one world of obligation to another. A holiday would be nice. And I don't mean a couple of days spent rushing round photographing churches but the sort of holiday I've never taken involving trade winds and beaches and palms.

Carl rang last night to say our boiler was leaking. (He's very kindly been looking after the house) and everything was "piss wet through". He had mopped up and put saucepans under the drips. The boiler has done this sort of thing before and I'm hoping it'll keep within bounds until Thursday. As Ailz said (quoting the Dalai Lama) there's no point in worrying about something you can do nothing about.
