In The Wake Of St Jude

St Jude is still ruffling the tops of the trees but the sun is shining and we've  taken the decision to hang some washing out on the line to blow. I've walked round looking for damage. There are lots of sticks on the ground, the greenhouse has lost a number of panes of perspex, one of the aspens in the field has had a couple of branches torn away and I picked a manky fragment of ridge tile off the front lawn.

Five, Six...

...Pick up sticks.

There are lots of them spread across the front lawn- mostly off the willow tree. Picked-up sticks means bonfires. Yes!
