Stupid Rabbits

The rabbits put the fridge freezer out of action last night by chewing through the cable. It's a wonder they didn't get fried. It took me about an hour to repair the damage. I know how to wire a plug but I'm clumsy. 

Nearly Lunchtime

The marathon runners are circling the Victoria Memorial at the top of the Mall. The statue is looking goldier than it was last time I clocked it. 

I'm going to miss the Olympics. Once they're finished the usual grimy stuff will climb back to the top of the news agenda. Syria (we're backing the horrible rebels against the horrible government because we've seen the way the wind is blowing) Mitt Romney (that disgusting man) the tribulations of our dreary Coalition, Premiership football (groan).

Two Kenyans and a Ugandan are leading the pack. The sun is shining on London.
