Ooooooh, Matron!

It's my father-in-law's birthday and he asked for a Dutch hoe and a fork. I said we should buy him a ticket to Amsterdam and Ailz smiled politely.

I feel there are the raw materials of a really good joke in there somewhere, but I just can't get it to come out right.  Any suggestions?
