Inexperienced

"I'll walk it off," I said to myself after downing four pints of cider during the course of a convivial meeting in Manchester with my two sons. Well, I guess that shows just how inexperienced I am. Fresh air is not enough! I had a rotten night. The nausea and headache have passed now, but I feel exhausted and doubt if I'll do much more today than sit in an armchair and watch cricket and snooze.
