Medieval Paris- here I come

I've been reading ajoyfulgirl's vampire novel. And it's damn good. I suppose one of my motive's in starting up this blog was to encounter other writers. So- mission accomplished. I have a novel of my own to get started on now- the sequel to Devilkins. I have an opening scene in mind and a hazy idea of where the action moves to after that. But also I need to do a bit of research. We're going to wind up in medieval Paris and it would be good to have some idea of the politics etc of the city in 1465.
