I had a great dream that was all psychedelic colours and beautiful people and horses made of mist and then I woke up and cooked dinner and we ate it and Joe sat us down and we watched Bad Santa which has to be the best Christmas movie ever and now it's mid-afternoon and Ailz has gone to bed and Joe is watching Shrek and I'm waiting for David Tennant to put in his first appearance as Dr Who.

My brother,who has the most apalling taste in movies, HATED Bad Santa.

But,it sounds like you had a good day all round. I'm in "Who Envy", I've not seen the good Doctor since he looked like Sylvester McCoy.

Bad Santa manages to work its way round to a conclusion full of seasonal uplift without feeding us any sugar on the way. I think it's brilliant.

You must try to get to see Christopher Ecclestone as the Doctor. He sets a new benchmark. And Billie Piper as Rose sets a new benchmark as the Doctor's companion. Fortunately, though Ecclestone has now regenerated into Tennant, Piper is still with us.
