Yes, there are still some leaves in place.

This is a little belt of woodland I traipse through on my way to Sainsbury's or the railway station. There's a factory on one side (they often have noxious bonfires out in the yard) and a road on the other, but if you angle the camera right you can imagine you're in the Forest of Arden.

I wish we had a railway station. If I could ditch my car, I'd be rich!

Beautiful blue sky.

I have a wild cherry tree by the back door, and it still has a few leaves, and last week had lots of red berries, but the birds settled in and in one day stripped it of every berry.

If you were here today, you'd imagine that you were in the Swiss Alps with Heidi. It's COLD (windchill at 5F) and snowy. And icy underfoot.

So, I'm glad you posted this picture. Arden is a far preferable place, and that sky is so blue...

sainsbury's! i drank lots of their 50p bottled water when i was in london.
