An Outing Of Sorts

A proper day out can be effortful- and we didn't feel up to much- so we merely tootled down to Hastings, bought some stuff at Sainsburys, ate some of the stuff in the car looking out to sea on the front at St Leonards, (with seagulls watching us and going "Raheem, Raheem" like City supporters) then stopped to buy the car a luxurious hand wash on the way home. There was more roadkill on the A21 than usual- I noticed two deer, several foxes, several rabbits; I guess whoever has the job of clearing it away has been resting over Christmas and the New Year.
