Oh, oh, my old stamping ground! My last flat was a few minutes up the road from the Horniman (my new one's not too far away).

Seems like a very pleasant area of London. Great views from the top of the hill.
The Horniman disappointed us. Most of the galleries are closed until 2018.

Oh, shame! Usually it's very rewarding.
I was priced out of Forest Hill but it turns out Crystal Palace is nicer, at least from the point of view of having shops and restaurants.

I lived in Sydenham for a year, within walking distance of the Crystal Palace park- and it was very pleasant.
Mind you, I'm talking about 40 years ago.
