You Brits are so classy.

Really.

Led Zeppelin,

Brittney Spears, the Spice Girls...

I suppose each room has various fun backgrounds, too...A mural of a field of daisies? A backseat of a Chevy?

Okay, I really am laughing out loud.

You're crazy!

Hahaha. The Oval Office...

[identity profile] poliphilo.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 08:07 am (UTC)(link)
What I want to know now is what they really get up to in that building?

Because I honestly haven't a clue.

[identity profile] jackiejj.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 08:06 am (UTC)(link)
Costumes!

Cowboy hats.

[identity profile] poliphilo.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 08:08 am (UTC)(link)
This is getting very expensive, you know.

And time consuming.

Cam I interest you in our de luxe service- with the option of home visits?

[identity profile] jackiejj.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 08:18 am (UTC)(link)
:)

The de luxe service must be frightfully expensive, and I would much prefer the daisy meadow, please.

This is reminding me of a very American story, from just outside our village:

Soon after the interstate highway was put in close to town, an abandoned cinderlock building near Exit 122 was painted white and given a sign, "Phil's Trucks," and--oddly--a disco ball was hung over the door.

Phil's Trucks didn't have any windows, and seemed to have irregular hours. Because it was sort of isolated, people pretty much ignored the place.

Turned out to be a house of prositution, and truckers (hence the name, "Phil's Trucks") were being given business cards and being told about Phil's great service all up and down Interstate 75--Michigan to Florida.

The little old ladies of Norris were appalled. Right under their noses! Two miles outside town!

[identity profile] poliphilo.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 08:22 am (UTC)(link)
I like that.

The disco ball is a sweet and lovely touch.

I can see them making a movie about it- with a role for Burt Reynolds.

[identity profile] poliphilo.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 11:21 am (UTC)(link)
And Catherine Zeta Jones...

It's not that I fancy her- I just think she's trashy enough.

[identity profile] halfmoon-mollie.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 07:20 am (UTC)(link)
A little wine and some chocolate, don't forget.

[identity profile] poliphilo.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 07:25 am (UTC)(link)
Chocolates are extra.....

[identity profile] huskyteer.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 07:39 am (UTC)(link)
Bit worried about the big steel tubes.

[identity profile] poliphilo.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 07:58 am (UTC)(link)
They have their uses....

[identity profile] idahoswede.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 07:40 am (UTC)(link)
Is there a drive-through?

[identity profile] poliphilo.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 08:00 am (UTC)(link)
Round the back....

Would you like fries with that?

[identity profile] poliphilo.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 09:44 am (UTC)(link)
How about a little relish?

[identity profile] idahoswede.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 10:29 am (UTC)(link)
Nah, I like it between two plain buns!

[identity profile] poliphilo.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 11:04 am (UTC)(link)
Er, right.

Have a nice day.

[identity profile] ksp24.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 07:45 am (UTC)(link)
Good heavens!

Grin . . .

[identity profile] poliphilo.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 08:05 am (UTC)(link)
Our prices can't be beaten!

[identity profile] mummm.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 08:08 am (UTC)(link)

[identity profile] humblenarrator.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 09:09 am (UTC)(link)
LTD = limited? ...they're not making any promises, but they'll try their best...

[identity profile] poliphilo.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 09:42 am (UTC)(link)
Of course. No guarantees...

But we're a well established family firm.....

[identity profile] humblenarrator.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 09:15 am (UTC)(link)

[identity profile] poliphilo.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 09:43 am (UTC)(link)

[identity profile] humblenarrator.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 09:56 am (UTC)(link)
yes, and that's definitely i don't want to happen when choosing an impregnation service.

[identity profile] mummm.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 10:40 am (UTC)(link)
Oh rats! It appears that the fun is over.

[identity profile] poliphilo.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 11:04 am (UTC)(link)
It had to end sometime.....

[identity profile] queen-in-autumn.livejournal.com 2005-08-10 06:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Reminds me of a local establishment called "Tacoma Screw Products." A bit more obvious what their actual business is, but still enough to raise eyebrows.
