The cat has worked out how to remove his collar. We came down to breakfast this morning and found it lying on a chair. I offered to put it back on for him and he ran away.

Yes, I know, none of you were in favour of us "belling" him in the first place...

A harness might work better than a collar. Safer, and harder to escape from.

I respect cats for their independence. It's why I can tolerate them better than dogs. Dogs are just so needy.
