Less Is More

Ailz says the house looks better with less furniture in it and I agree. It's nice to be able to move across the living room without banging into things.

I think that most of don't realize how crowded our homes get because we get used to them being crowded. I've never been a minimalist but I have to say that we are in the process of rearranging and refurnishing our bedroom and I have eliminated a lot of the extras that crowded it. It does feel good to actually be able to move around more freely in there. And it looks better, too.

I'm all in favour of minimalism as an idea- but I'm far too fond of bric-a-brac to embrace it myself.
