poliphiloIf you want to be present at the re-interment of Richard III (I don't particularly) it'll cost you £2,500. Leicester cathedral denies that it's "cashing in".
The coffin will be attended by descendants of nobles who fought at Bosworth. I wonder if they'll be inviting the Stanleys?

Date: 2014-09-03 02:36 pm (UTC)If I were running it, I'd have a guest list- the mayor, local MPs, people involved in the recovery and examination of the remains, representatives of the Richard III Society, a member of the current royal family and so on- and otherwise open it to the general public on a first come, first served basis.
As for money, I'd have a little faith. I think it'll show up. There's been so much publicity.
