A lot of very small children see spirits.

Yes they do! I have no patience with those who say they don't. Are you accusing the wee lambs of being liars? Shame on you!

They don't necessarily make a big damn thing of it. They're very matter of fact. They see a spirit and they don't know it's a spirit and they suppose everyone else can see it too.

Ivy asked her mother where the old man had got to. Which old man? But Ivy didn't explain. She just smiled into the middle distance.

We should pay attention to what children tell us. Their receive information on wavebands that are closed to most of us.

I never invalidated her. We went back and told her parents "She saw something over there that I couldn't see." Her mom, crouching down to be at eye level, said "What did you see, Honey?". She pointed over where we were and said something in Toddler-speak that I had no way of understanding. Her mom appeared to understand, though. That was all that mattered.

Those 2 are such great parents. (Terrible at all other life skills, but outstanding parents, nonetheless).
