A Plus B

A Channel 4 reporter is standing in the wet with a group of disgruntled Somerset villagers. He asks about the work being done by government agencies and a young woman says the government hasn't done anything and local  people are having to fend for themselves.

Two things have come together this winter. The first is the realization that climate change (no matter what caused it) is now a reality we're going to have to live with and the second is a confirmation of the suspicion that the government we elect and pay for (political affiliation immaterial) is absolutely bloody useless.

A plus B equals what, I wonder?

A plus B equals perhaps a return to more self-sufficiency? Going backwards isn't always a bad thing.
