poliphiloMy mother's trainer gave us lunch at her local yesterday. I wasn't looking forward to spending all that time in the company of horsey people but as it turned out I found myself sitting opposite a retired judge and we bonded over The ingoldsby Legends, Dr Syn and the romance of Romney Marsh.
My mother enjoyed herself but was very tired afterwards.
