Two Completely Unrelated Paragraphs

I was hanging out the washing when the postman drove up in his van. I thought he looked at me a little oddly as he handed over the mail and then I realized I was wearing my blue velvet smoking cap with the tassel.

Do you think the brokenness of LJ (I spent all morning trying to post my last entry) has anything to do with the G20 meeting in Russia?

Probably... and, this brings up another interesting thought...

With all of the anti-gay stuff going on in Russia right now, it seems a little ironic that myself, as well as TONS of other LGBTQ people, continue to write about our lives and our issues on this medium.

I wonder how long its going to take before Putin catches onto this and does something about it.

I should imagine he's well aware of what's going on. LJ is a considerable thorn in his flesh- which is one of many good reasons to keep on supporting and using it.
