So now our journals are being rated in terms of topness. Mine started at 310 yesterday (or was it the day before?) and has been on the slide ever since. It currently stands at 331.
I've no objection to LJ flailing around and trying to become Facebook, if only it would give people the option of Switching It All Off and going back to the old ways.
Trying to catch up with Facebook seems utterly pointless to me. LJ offers another kind of service. It shouldn't be competing, just trying to do what it does as well as it possibly can.
Mine's f-locked so if I see it on display in this fashion (or if any friend informs me that they have seen it so displayed) I will have LJ's collective heart's blood and be out of here quicker than you can blink!
Ah jaysus. If I'm logged in, non-friends who've enabled My Guests can see when I view their journal, right? I'll have to log out before I browse in future.
And I have no intention of turning on that ratings thingy.
