I'm a huge fan of the book. I actually think they did a pretty good job with this version.

(Bale made a good Laurie.)

Yes that's curious, isn't it....

Jane Eyre has been filmed many times but- as far as I know- no-one has ever filmed Villette- even though it's just as good.
