As I reached he head of the stairs I heard a rabbit thump on the floor of the room where the rabbits used to live. I've heard it before. Ailz says she's heard it many times.

My parents' house apparently had a spectral cat for a while. I saw it, my mother saw it, my husband saw it - we were all skeptical, but things were seen, and felt (it rubbed past my leg once) and it was never a case of 'oh look! It's the ghost cat!' but a case instead of 'oh, look! It's one of the cats - erm, it's not!! What the heck's going on here!!??!!"

We never did get to the bottom of it.

Other people have seen or sensed a ghost cat in our house. My experience is it's quite common for pets to hang around.

I have no problem accepting ghosts as a "reality". I think the evidence is overwhelming.

My cat made his presence known several times after his death. It was totally natural and I was glad to experience it. I never actually saw him, but I felt him brush against my legs, heard his very distinct meow, and woke up to feel him snuggled between my knees, doing the thump thump thump scratching, jiggling me awake. I felt his weight and his heat. It continued until I cautiously reached out to turn on the light and look--and then it just vanished.

I miss him.

I wish he'd come back again.

I have seen a fast moving black cat shaped spector in my mom's house, walking across the back of the couch or scurrying across the floor. I think it might be our childhood cat Maxi. I'm always glad to see her too. I wish she'd sit in my lap like she used to.

I remember my grandmother saying she once saw the ghost of one of her dogs walk past the open kitchen door.
