Lions

I had a dream with lions in it. I was riding on the back of a tricycle and the lions were walking alongside asking to be petted. They were lovely lions but I didn't altogether trust them and couldn't understand why the person who was powering the tricycle didn't get a move on.

Maybe this dream has greater significance--because I dreamed of lion-like creatures way over here on this side of the pond. They were cougars which are also known as wild cats or mountain lions. I dreamed I was riding a bicycle alongside a big warehouse--and there were at least a dozen cougars wandering in and out of the warehouse's open doors (which were like garage doors) and sunning themselves on the loading docks and wandering around outside the building. Their attention was mostly directed to whatever was inside the building.

My emotion in the dream was wonder and excitement at seeing these creatures in town and so close and behaving so civilly--but also a little anxiety as they were so close and I was quite certain I couldn't outrun them.

None of them showed any sign of antagonism or threat towards me.

They were beautiful.

How strange. The details are a little different but it's essentially the same dream.

So, maybe this dream is a message from the universe and it's up to you and me to save the world from certain doom!

Or maybe we just got into a weird psychic connection space while sleeping.

At any rate, it is odd. Interesting and odd.
