A Light Dusting

It snowed in the night- a light dusting: I guess this counts as a white Christmas.

I went down to the park and took some pictures. When Ailz gets through with watching babies being birthed on her lifestyle channel (seasonal viewing?) she'll down-load them and we'll see if there's anything worth posting.

I just poured myself a brandy to go with my black Italian coffee.

And it's starting to snow again. O yes!

Happy Christmas to you too.

It's snowing in dribs and drabs and- by crikey- it's just started again.

Glad you're getting snow on Christmas! I feel bad for the Christian folk in Boston; it's a sunny clear day, and there's no snow :\

This is the first time in God knows how long that we've had snow at Christmas. In spite of all those jolly Christmas card scenes of stage-coaches speeding merrily through snowy landscapes, a white Christmas is a rare event in England.

Oh, Happy Christmas to you and Ailz. Here in northern central New York State the ground is bare, but 30 miles to the north and west of us there is 3 feet of snow on the ground. We had sun. It was bloody cold, but the moon came up clear and beautiful just a little while ago.

As I was riding home, I looked at all the lights. They seem to sparkle in this cold. The pagan in me will miss them, when the time comes to remove them for another year...

Happy Christmas.

It's been snowing on and off all through the day and there's a fair bit remaining on the ground- more than in the pictures I took this morning.

I saw the moon earlier, riding through the clouds, but it's gone now. Maybe we'll have more snow tonight.

We had snow here the day after Christmas ... then it cleared in time to allow the full moon to illuminate it. Quite pretty.

Merry Christmas to you and Ailz!
