Anyone Know What This Means?

A youngish guy in the doctor's waiting room this morning had a jacket with a Union Jack on the back and ENGLAND in big letters and SHUT IT TROUSERS in smaller ones. I've asked Google to explain and it can't.

It sounds like some kind of catchphrase, but if it were you'd expect it to be on the Net.

Till I saw the above I assumed it was an Indian/Sri Lankan/Chinese fashion garment. They tend to have some spectacular bits of nonsense English on them.

That might still be the explanation. An Asian fashion garment inspired by the Sweeney with a slogan composed by someone for whom English is a second language...
