A Change In The Air
Yesterday felt autumnal. I couldn't name what had changed- the leaves were still green, the weather was still all mixed up- but my nerve endings registered it- whatever it is. Kipling called it "a whisper down the field" and that'll have to do. Today we've moved on and the signs are unmistakable; the sky is blue and the air is cold.
