Remembering

poliphiloI dreamed I had superhuman powers, including the power of flight. Then they were taken away. I knew as they were leaving me that I wouldn't be able to remember the things I had once known, but that- if I concentrated really hard- I would at least be able to remember there were things I had forgotten.
