The rabbits are the best of friends.  Tolkien asserted his dominance with a touch of the good old ultra-violence and now everything is going swimmingly. I had no idea it would be so easy. I was afraid, going on past experience, that they'd fight and fight and fight. 

I had a happy dream last night. I don't remember a thing about it except that there were lots of brightly coloured things- jewels perhaps.

One of our rabbits is very submissive. The trouble comes, I think, when both rabbits want to be boss.

I'm glad the rabbits have very quickly decided who is top-rabbit and who is under-rabbit. Our ratties wer like that, with one clearly dominant and the other happy to submit. It's when they're both equally matched that the fighting goes on and on.
