Weather Report

Our premature summer lasted about a week. The forecasters said it would be gone by the weekend, but it gave us a curtain call on Sunday. Yesterday and today have been dull, with brief, bright patches.  This morning it rained heavily. The hottest place in the UK last week was Aboyne in North East Scotland. Today Aboyne is under snow.

We don't have snow, but the weather has decided in the last few days to behave like slicing February instead of early April. It makes a change from July, but I wouldn't mind if we actually spent a week in the proper season, just to see what it feels like.

our last frost here os usually on may 1st
and march/april are snowy.
