Agreed on the view, but I don't much care for the boxy sarcophagi or the idea of being perched on a hilltop and scoured by the wind for all eternity. Then again, our family plot and my likely final resting place sits on a hilltop in a far colder climate, so seems I'm just being picky.

I'm not sure where the name cames from. There's no mere and I don't think there were ever any friars.
