Normal Service Is Resumed

So that's the end of the winter holiday season. I'm glad. I tell myself there's nothing nicer than sitting around doing nothing for days on end, but it's not true. 

We went shopping this morning. Having remaindered Christmas pudding and vigorously marketed hot cross buns in the same basket feels all wrong, but- as Ailz said, "So wrong, it's right."

Sitting around doing nothing is a great novelty -- but all novelties become boring. So yeah, back into the fray it is.

Sitting around doing nothing is a pleasant change after the fray of the holiday season... I love cooking, but I dare say I'll be fine with defrosting leftovers from the freezer, rather than cooking any more splendid meals any time soon!

I agree totally about having had enough of the sitting around doing nothing. Not that there's much difference between my holidays and my working weeks now I work online from home, but I do prefer a routine.
