Health Check

This morning I went for my yearly check-up with the practice nurse. My weight hasn't changed, my blood pressure is a little high and she was philosophical about me dropping the statins.

According to the research that Ailz has been doing, cholesterol is actually quite benign- and you're certainly better off ingesting butter than the poisonous stuff they put in spreads and margarines.

I have been trying to convince Manolo to quit the statins but his cardiologist advises against it. He did have a lot of heart trouble a few years ago.

I found they were affecting my memory. I've sharpened up considerably since coming off.
