Country Bob

I dreamed I had been sent to interview Bob Dylan. Bob lived with his brothers and nieces on a farm in deepest, darkest Arkansas. Bob didn't want to be interviewed because he was feeling "blue"- which left me at the mercy of his brothers. One of them asked me my religion and I said, "Church of England". "We're Arkies", said Bob's brother- and, pointing his finger at my forehead, tried to convert or exorcise me with an extraordinary  howling, grinding, clicking noise I took to be a rebel yell.

I take it that you considered this a nightmare? Or an anthropological view of Ozark America?

Bob's family were sinister rather than nightmarish. I didn't feel under any very great threat. :)

And what did you have for dinner that night? That was a real nightmare!

Baked potato, I think, or maybe it was lobster soup...
