poliphiloA dove is chasing another dove around the yard- whether for sex or violence I really don't know. They move at the ridiculous pace of a slow-cranked silent comedy.
A new cat has staked out the yard as its territory. It is black all over except for the tiniest white spot on the very tip of its tail. I read somewhere that you'll rarely/never come across an all-black cat because our ancestors used to burn them as witches.
