Planning Ahead

There's a big cardboard box in the corner of the room, full of  presents we'll be handing out over the next month or two.  We've already got everything we need for Christmas. (All Ailz's doing: she plans ahead, I live in the moment). I've just dug through it to extract the bedroom slippers we're giving my ma-in-law for her birthday (which is today).

Amazing. My wife and I have steadfastly avoided even thinking about the holidays, so far successfully.

I'd recommend it. It's good to avoid that last minute run-around after presents.

True and probably saves a good deal of money, too, when you have the luxury of making reasoned choices instead of the more usual acts of holiday desperation.
