poliphiloI didn't like last week's episode much. It was too hurried- and it had one of those "in one bound they were free" endings that leave you wondering what all the fuss was about. The Girl Who Waited was much better. For the first time ever I felt emotionally invested in Rory and Amy (Karen Gillan's performance as hard-assed, middle-aged Amy was terrific) and I liked it that we got a glimpse of the Doctor's inner bastard.
