Persistent

A few weeks ago I moved the Japanese maple to a tub in the front yard. I had to do something, Bunny had reduced it to a woebegone stick- eating its little red leaves as soon as it put them out.  I was afraid the move would kill it- or, indeed, that it was dead already-  but- no- it's covered in leaves again.

My Japanese maples have come out in a flurry of new leaves just now, too, although they are un-nibbled. Perhaps they just do this at this time of year?

Perhaps they do. They seem to have an extra helping of the life force.

Bunnies sound like large, furry, loveable versions of slugs...

Exactly.

The good thing is you never need to do any weeding.

And you can never get bored of a plant, because it's never around for long enough!
