The PCC

Talk about reforming the Press Complaints Commission is beside the point. The things that News International journalists have done aren't simply breaches of journalistic ethics, but crimes- and as such the business of the police.  It's the police- and their political masters- who have failed to do their job. The scandal at the News of the World isn't primarily about journalism, its about the corruption and/or cowardice of our law makers and law enforcers.

Ugh. I despise most journalists. I believe we've each already noted how little objective reporting is done. Reading a mainstream newspaper these days is like getting rolled by a hooker. erm....or so I conjecture.

Totally agree. It's pernicious, seedy and disgusting. Murdoch and co should be dragged to the dock and he key thrown away.

Rupert Murdoch is probably beyond the`reach of the law (I doubt if there's any trail- paper or electronic- that leads to him) but I think his son James has some questions to answer.
