A Victorian mansion in Worcestershire. The house is a shell, but the fountain has been put back in working order.

I had to look it up to see why it was a shell and I see there was a huge fire there that gutted the building in 1937. The grounds look lovely, though.

I think I like it better as a ruin.

That's an absolutely classic English country house and park. It looks wonderful under a blue sky with fluffy white clouds.

Thanks. It's a spectacular house.

How lovely! This "new world" cannot rival the old world for amazing constructions over centuries. I realize that this one is fairly recent for you, but for us it would be almost half a nation's lifetime ago. I really enjoy the photos that you take on your outings.

Thank you.

The site would benefit from the introduction of hyenas. Also, I wonder if the shell can be used for anything. It kind of looks like it would be an awesome place to hold events like art fairs or farmer's markets or concerts or plays.

Another thing they might consider doing is putting the roof back on. The fabric appears perfectly sound.
