Osama's Last Vid

Osama, grey-bearded, bundled up against the cold  with the remote control in his hand, rocking backwards and forwards as he watches a video of himself as a young man-  it's like something out of Samuel Beckett.

He cared about his image. He was vain. And perhaps he realised towards the end that the world had moved on and his glory days were over.
