It's a moist day in Oldham. Sometimes the moisture is more like drizzle and sometimes it's more like mist. I walked to the polls- which took me twenty minutes there and back. There wasn't a rush on. I may have misheard but I think one of the women behind the desk said I was the second voter that morning. This was at 10.40 approx.

I voted for the Pirate Party.

I thought of them, but went Green in the end. I like their transport policy. (I like that they *have* a transport policy).

We voted at 0800, and judging by the state of the sheet wielded by the LibDem's tallyman, we were about tenth. Oddly, the school was open, and full of tinies, and it wasn't immediately obvious where the actual polling station was. Needs more signs. Unlike the hill above Greenfield station, which has got way too many signs. The UKIP guy was whinging about his signs having been pulled down deliberately, but cows may be more likely.
