Raw Data

There were no workmen on site yesterday. We went to the storage facility and brought home more books. In the evening my father-in-law went into hospital, but there's really nothing they can do for him so he'll probably be discharged today. Last night I dreamed I was conducting a door to door survey on homosexuality for the Church of England.

Just for the record, I'm for it.

I'm more than just for it; I can strongly recommend it! It's great!

(Not thereby meaning do degrade the greatness of heterosexuality. I'm sure it has some wonderful features that I just haven't noticed.)

I've been an enthusiastic heterosexualist since I was about 4. Girls are just so.. I dunno.... girlish. I like everything about them.

I think you really have to love a good mystery. Men seem such simpler creatures.

I'm not sure they are. I understand most women find us baffling.

But you're right- heterosexuality- for both sexes- is all about mystery and otherness. I sometimes think that homosexuality- were it not for the persecution- would be a lot easier.

I always hesitate to say "easier", and I suspect that in reality it is not, but it sure seeems like homosexuality would be easier.

At a guess, women find us baffling because they doubt our motives are really as simple and brutish as they appear.
