New Car

And today we got a new car. It's a Renault Kangoo. We drove one of its cousins round Annecy earlier this year and fell in love with the brand. We were going through the paperwork at the dealership and Ailz happened to mention we'd been at the hospital all day yesterday- and I immediately whipped out my camera- which was hanging at my belt- and showed the salesman a picture of Christa. Proud grand-dad, huh!

(Smiling). We all do that with new babies. Strangers on trains and buses also share photos of newborns. To me, new life is an affirmation that says everything just might turn out right after all.

That car is very popular in Spain, a type of mini-van with great capacity for wheelchairs and such.
